Fill the numbers 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7 into the table below, ensuring that the sum of the three numbers in each row is equal and that the sum of the two numbers in each column is also equal.


Analysis

Because the table has 2 rows and 3 columns, and 1+2+3+5+6+7=24, the sum of the three numbers in each row is 24÷2=12. Thus, these six numbers can be divided into two groups: (7,3,2) and (6,5,1). Similarly, based on the given conditions, the sum of the two numbers in each column is 24÷3=8. We need to consider both the condition that the sum of the 3 numbers in each row is equal and the condition that the sum of the 2 numbers in each column is equal.
