Alex Hernandez

I’m Alex, a high school senior from the Bay Area. I’m a bilingual student fluent in English and Spanish working as a TA for a CC course. My first-ever teaching experience dates back to middle school when I read books and helped kindergarteners with handwriting. Since then, I’ve taken many side jobs instructing students. In the summer, I spent three weeks in China going from city to city teaching 4th, 7th, and 11th graders English. I hope to inspire young students, particularly in STEM fields, by encouraging curiosity and fostering a passion for science and technology. I aim to help the next generation develop the skills and confidence needed to thrive.
